Mock interview. You're interviewing for a senior analyst job on a jobs marketplace team. The interviewer says: "We want to help members get hired, not just apply. Let's look at the whole funnel."

Each row in applications has stage_reached, the furthest stage that application got to. The stages, in order, are applied, screen, interview, offer, hired. So an application with hired also passed the screen, the interview and the offer.

Step 1: The funnel in one row

"Show how many applications reached each stage: applied (all of them), screened, interviewed, offered and hired."

Expected output

  • Columns applied, screened, interviewed, offered, hired; each counts applications that reached that stage or a later one

Example of the shape (made-up values):

applied screened interviewed offered hired
1000 300 150 60 40
