This website teaches the coding side of data science (SQL, Python and data analysis) through lessons and practice exercises. Everything on it is for learning. It isn't legal, financial, career or professional advice, and we can't promise any interview, job offer or other result.

Some exercises are set in a business like a well-known company, for example "imagine you're a data analyst at Netflix". We use the company's name only to describe the kind of business the exercise is about, so the scenario feels realistic.

We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any company named on this website, and no company has reviewed or approved our content. All company names, product names and trademarks belong to their owners. We don't use their logos.

Every table, row and number in our practice databases was made up by us with a computer program. The data does not come from any company, and it doesn't show any company's real customers, users, employees, sales, prices, performance, internal systems or database design. Table and column names were chosen by us for teaching.

People's names, movie and show titles, products, restaurants and other details in the data are fictional. Any resemblance to real people, titles or businesses is a coincidence.

We write every lesson, exercise and explanation ourselves. They are not real or leaked interview questions, and they don't come from any company's hiring process. When an exercise is set at a named company, it means the scenario is modelled on that type of business, not that the company asks this question.

We work hard to keep lessons correct, but mistakes can happen. Details can differ between versions: our SQL lessons use PostgreSQL and our Python lessons use Python 3.14.
